The Government is committed to creating and providing safe, secure, stable and long term stability for our citizens. Towards this, through the Ministry of Defence, National Security and Immigration, the Government has directed a review of our National Security Strategy – A Strategy that will assist and support the achievement of the government vision.
This is to advise the general public in Fiji, of the changes in dates and times of the public consultations in Sigatoka,Nadi,Lautoka, Ba and Rakiraki due to a major unforeseen circumstance. The aim is still to present and discuss the review process and update on the New Security Strategy for Fiji. The purpose is to increase awareness, gather suggestions and instill ownership among all Fijians.

23 April 15- Thursday- Sigatoka – Sigatoka Council Chamber – 10am – 12pm
23 April 15- Thursday- Lautoka – Lautoka Council Chamber – 2pm – 4pm
24 April 15- Friday- Ba – Ba Civic Centre -10am -12pm
24 April 15- Friday- Rakiraki – CMF Church – 2pm-4pm
29 April 15- Wednesday- Nabouwalu – Provincial Office – 10am – 12pm
30 April 15- Thursday- Labasa – Labasa Civic Centre -10am – 12pm
01 May 15- Friday- Savusavu – Provincial Office – 10am – 12pm
04 May 15- Monday- Taveuni – Provincial Office – 10am – 12pm
06 May 15- Wednesday- Levuka Provincial Office – 10am – 12pm
The schedule for Tavua, Korovou, Nausori, Nasinu, Suva, Lakeba, Kadavu and Rotuma will be announced later.
The general public is urged to fully utilize this opportunity and to take part in the review and renewing of The National Security and Defence Strategy.
