URGENT REPAIR WORKS ON A PUMP AT RARALEVU RESERVOIR WILL CAUSE
TEMPORARY WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION IN NAUSORI UNTIL SUNDAY
The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) advises its customers living in parts of Nausori that there will be an
interruption in water supply from today, Wednesday 15th March 2015 till Sunday 19th March 2015
Impacted areas include:
Ovea Village
Bau Rd, Nakoroivau, Namuka, Cautata and Vatoa
Waicoka Village
Buiduna, Lakena 1, Lakena 2 and Baulevu
The interruption in supply is due to repair works being carried out on the pump at Raralevu
Reservoir.
The Authority advises its customers residing in these areas to store water for their immediate needs
and use it wisely during this temporary disruption in supply.
However, water carts are on standby to service the affected areas until supply is fully restored.
Supply is expected to normalise by Sunday (19/04)
The Authority highly regrets inconvenience caused to its customers.
