The Sports World Business Houses Sports Competition, which was part of the weeklong 2014 Vodafone Hibiscus Festival in Suva saw many teams participating for the Volleyball, Soccer and Touch Rugby competitions.
In his address as the Chief Guest to the events Award Ceremony last Saturday, Director of Marketing Courts (Fiji) Ltd, Mr. Anil Seweniratne welcomed everyone on behalf of the Chairman, the Board of Directors, CEO of Vision Group and Sports World General Manager, and thanked all the people involved in supporting the cause of promoting good health for the people of Fiji.
“Health and wellbeing is of course paramount to everyone. But the reality is unfortunately, that people, especially the working class, get so involved with their daily routines that this aspect of their lives is neglected time and again.
Initiatives such as this business house sports tournaments organised by the Hibiscus Events Group is a brilliant step to get people to be physically active and fit and motivate everyone to remain health conscious” said Mr. Senewiratne.
Sports World General Manager, Mr. Vinod Kumar said they were proud to be a partner to this initiative.
