Tuesday, June 03, 2014 – Digicel Fiji has today announced its support for the inaugural Bodybuilding and Fitness Expo to be held in Lautoka this weekend.
The sponsorship in cash and kind is worth $1,200. This includes cash along with a smartphone for the overall winner and free credit vouchers for winners in each of the nine categories.
The day-long event will see professionals giving health tips and selling health and fitness products at the Girmit Center in Lautoka. The event closes with a bodybuilding show on Saturday evening.
Digicel Fiji’s Head of Marketing, Ms. Sheryl Singh presented the cash and prizes to organizer Albert Veeran in Suva today.
“This event will help raise awareness about healthy living and is a way to fight against NCD’s,” said Ms. Singh.
“We are delighted to support such an event and extremely happy to support bodybuilding in the country,” added Ms. Singh.
The organisers were happy to receive Digicel’s support and are looking forward to hosting a successful event this Saturday.
