Tourism Fiji has beaten other high-profile international destinations to partner with Australian retailer Myer for its new Spring Summer 2014/15 Fashion Campaign shoot.
The annual Myer Spring Summer campaign is a highly anticipated event on the Australian fashion calendar, setting trends for the season and reaching an audience of millions. The Fijian archipelago was selected for its world-class beaches, warm climate and unique, relaxed atmosphere, providing a stunning backdrop to showcase Myer’s new season trends.
The campaign is being shot in a variety of picturesque locations throughout Fiji including the Inter Continental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, Plantation Island Resort, Tokoriki Island Resort, Likuliku Island, Cloud9 surf break and Vomo Island.
A crew of approximately 40 people are currently on-location in Fiji to produce the fashion campaign shoot, including the Face of Myer, Jennifer Hawkins and Myer Ambassador Kris Smith.
“We’re delighted Myer chose Fiji as the location to shoot its new campaign, recognising the destination’s breathtaking natural beauty and warm, welcoming people,” said Tourism Fiji Director Global Marketing, Ken Freer
“As the advertising campaign will roll-out across Fiji’s largest inbound source market, it’s a great opportunity for us to showcase Fiji and show Australians a side of the destination they may not already know. From top surf breaks to world-class diving, breathtaking adventure activities and an emerging culinary scene, the campaign will add significant weight to our efforts to show how much Fiji has to offer.”
The advertising campaign will go live on 3 August 2014 and span a range of mediums, including press ads, TVCs, in-store visual merchandise signage, catalogues and social media.
