With both buyers and sellers lists and appointments for South Pacific Tourism Exchange, which kicks off on Thursday this week in Auckland, full to bursting, the leading hotel and resort operator in The Cook Islands, Tata Crocombe who owns and operates not only the Rarotongan Beach Resort and Spa, but also the Aitutaki Lagoon Resort and Spa, the Sanctuary Rarotonga and South Sea Villas, says that he believes that SPTE will be a huge success.
He said that SPTE had clearly taken over from the limited “other pacific nations” attendance that they previously had at Bula Fiji Tourism Exchange allowed, with SPTE having now far superceded that limited presence now with the South Pacific Islands’ very own pan South Pacific Islands tourism event.
SPTE 2014 is taking place at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand on the 22 & 23 May 2014 and is attracting the participation of international wholesalers from around the world including North America, China, North America, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand and sellers from throughout the Pacific, with 16 Pacific Island countries represented at the event through their National Tourism Offices, airlines and private sectors operators.
