Internationally acclaimed wine maker and New Zealand wine industry visionary, Mr Kim Crawford is set to grace Fiji’s shores this coming Wednesday, 21st May 2014. With two major wine events booked this week, the wine maker will be promoting his wine ranges exclusively distributed by Punjas Wines & Spirits.
“We have been exclusively representing Kim’s wines since 2011 with the launch of Farmers Market and The Maker wines,” says Julianne Verma, Business Development Manager for Punjas Wines & Spirits.
“He has visited Fiji several times in this period. This visit serves to promote Kim’s new inclusion to our portfolio Duck Hunter Sauvignon Blanc and Duck Hunter Pinot Noir,” Julianne adds.
Two show-stopping wine events have been planned this coming week where Kim will himself present his wines to guests and industry friends. Whilst in Fiji, he will also take time to conduct wine training with food and beverage staff at resort properties.

“It is a welcomed visit and privilege to have a wine maker of Kim’s calibre share his passion and knowledge with our local people, especially as we do not have a wine culture and local knowledge on wines is quite limited,” Julianne says.
“Although I conduct wine training with hotel and resort properties, the opportunity to receive training from the winemaker themselves is extremely special, motivating and quite often inspiring,” she concluded.
