The Mother’s Day spirit came alive at the Senior Citizens Home in Samabula, Suva Friday morning when Telecom Fiji Limited paid them a surprised visit.
The Team comprising of Senior Staff and Management showered the Mother’s at the Home with gifts and goodies as an initiative to remind them that they are loved and cared for.
Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mothilal De Silva said, “We sometimes tend to forget how important people around us are. Today’s visitation reminded us how of our human values; for some, this was their first visit to the Home; and we are glad to have done it. We are thankful to the Management of the Home for taking such good care of its residents and also for accommodating us this morning.”
It was indeed a heartwarming experience for the TFL Team.
Ninety Seven year old resident Mrs. Benina was overwhelmed with the gesture; she thanked the team for paying them a visit and talked about how she was looking forward to her ninety eighth birthday in July this year. She has been a resident of the Home since the last three years; and is thankful for the love and care she has been receiving.
