The body of a woman believed to be in her early 60s was discovered floating in a river near the Bailey Bridge in Laucala this morning.
The discovery was made by two men at around 11am and the identity of the victim has been confirmed by a relative.
The victim was reported missing from home this morning and is understood to have been suffering from a mental illness.
Investigations continue.
