This Saturday will signal the final day of play in the Suva Cricket Association’s club competition for the 2013/14 season.
The final of the Premier Grade competition will be the penultimate game of the season, which will be played between Army and Yadrana.
Although the A-Grade final between Ono-I-Lau and VICC couldn’t be completed last week due to poor weather, the promotion/relegation matches will go ahead this week between the bottom two placed teams in the Premier Grade and the top two ranked teams in the A Grade.
The day of festivities will conclude with the Suva Cricket Association’s prize giving ceremony and official naming of the Suva Warriors and the Suva Crusaders, who will represent the association in this year’s Easter Tournament.
The full schedule of play for Saturday is as follows:
Albert Park 1
9.30am – Moce I v Ono-I-Lau (Premier/Relegation match 1 – 8th Premier Grade v 1st A Grade)
12.30pm – Army v Yadrana (Premier Grade Final)
3.30pm – Prize Giving and naming of Suva Warriors and Suva Crusaders
Albert Park 2
9.30am – Covenant Brothers v VICC (Promotion/Relegation match 2 – 7th Premier Grade v 2nd A Grade)
