A trough of low pressure with associated heavy cloud and rain remains slow moving over the Fiji group as the Nadi Weather Office has reported that this is expected to continue affecting the group by tomorrow.
There are reports of heavy rain in Lautoka and Nadi and associated areas in the west of the Vitilevu group.
Meanwhile the 2013 Courts Inter-district Championship will be kicking off officially today at 1.15 pm at Lautoka’s Churchill Park with:
2.15pm Suva-Nadroga
3.30pm Nadi-Navua
4.45pm Ba-Labasa
6pm Lautoka-Rewa
