Operations for the Fiji Police Force today will specifically focus on ensuring everyone enjoys their Fiji Day celebrations without incident.
Chief Operations Officer Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Rusiate Tudravu said Divisions have been briefed to closely monitor their area of operations as people enjoy their Fiji Day Holiday.
“Our officers will be pushed forward and those from various units will be deployed from tomorrow and our traffic officers will be on our roads”.
Meanwhile, on the same note ACP Tudravu is calling on members of the public to take ownership of their safety.
“Some may choose to stay home while others will opt to go for picnics but however they choose to spend their public holiday, we are pleading with them to keep safe and also keep a close eye on their children”.
