Radisson Blu Resort Fiji in contention for their Responsible Business Month campaign today donated a total of 20 desktop computers and $6,000 worth of catering equipments to Ratu Navula College vocational school in the, hospitality and tourism department.
During handover of the catering equipments to the teacher incharge for catering, Mr Sujeev Kumar, General Manger for Radisson Blu Fiji, Mr Gerard Knight said,” I hope the equipment would be properly used, so that students trained at the vocational centre could have access to proper equipment during their study at the school and with good knowledge gained they could come and work for us one day”.
“September is Responsible Business Month at the Radisson Blu Fiji and we try our best to be responsible enough to help the community in whatever way we can,” added Mr Knight.

Present at the hand over were committee and board members of Ratu Navula College, Students and teachers of the Hospitality and Tourism department together with staff and members of the Responsible Business Team of Radisson Blu Fiji.
Accepting the handover on behalf of the school, Assistant Principal of Ratu Navula College, Mrs Vane Lewaravu thanked the resort for their kindness.
“We thank the board and members of Radisson Blu Fiji for their kind gesture to the school, the resort have always been concerned for the school needs and have always helped the school along the way,” said Mrs Vane Lewaravu.
“These equipments would help our students to gain more skills before they join workforce, the resort will always be in our hearts and prayers, Vinaka,”added Mrs Lewaravu.

Meanwhile, Radission Blu Fiji has already donated a total of 72 computers and 30 chairs to six different schools in Nadi, which include Ratu Navula College, Mulomulo Primary, Korovuto High, Vuniyasi Primary, Nawaka District and Nadi district School in the week long campaign.
