The 26th Nadi Sports Club Tennis Business House Championships will be starting this Saturday 4pm at the Nadi sports Club.
The yearly competition first started in 1987, this year six teams will be participating in the in the five week long round-robin tournament.
There would be three grade events, A, B and C while all would be double events consisting of Adults and Juniors mostly the Nadi Sports Club players and a few from Suva and Lautoka.
Last year’s champions of the tournament CONSUMERS would be out to defend their title while the runners-up for last year, MAMA’S PIZZA would be aiming for a win this year.
Meanwhile, six teams that would be taking part in the tournament are CONSUMERS, MAMAS PIZZA, RINAS ELECTRICAL, ACADEMY ALLSTARS, GDR CONSTRUCTION and KAICOLO POWER, while the match format is first to nine games with super-tiebreaker to 10 points on 8-8 draw.
