The 100 year old Sigatoka bridge came alive yesterday when the star studded Nadroga Rugby side with thousands of fans from different parts of Nadroga made their way dancing and with joy marching through the town ending the march at the old bridge, where awaited more fans and organizers of the event.
Small and big and of all colours but deep in black and white gathered to celebrate the Nadroga rugby side’s win in the Digicel Cup competition.
Nadroga’s major sponsor Outrigger on the Lagoon together with Digicel Fiji also acknowledged the team’s achievement for their hard work.
Outrigger General Manager Peter Hopgood congratulated the side and for making people of Nadroga proud.

The Stallions won the title for the third year in a row after beating Suva in the final last week 21-12.
Digicel Fiji’s Public Relations and Sponsorship Manager, Satish Narain also took time to wish the boys for a very good performance in the past three years.
Nadroga’s winning Captain and President Tiko Matawalu said that it was an honour to be part of the team and there was more to come.

Meanwhile, Suva will host Lautoka at the ANZ stadium for the first Farebrother challenge today at 3:30pm.
