The ‘Natadola Has Talent’ carnival will run from 6pm on 28th – 31st August at Tuva Indian School – located on the main road junction to Natadola- with nightly themes such as Gospel, Bogi Ni Taukei, Bollywood, and Polynesian dancing.

In an effort to raise funds for the resort choir to showcase Fiji at the annual Fiji Day Celebrations in Sydney later this year, InterContinental Fiji has organised a four day choir carnival featuring amusement rides, food stalls, performances, and competitions, and is inviting the public to attend.

The carnival is the first of its kind for the Natadola Bay community, which consists of eight villages and six schools, and is set to be an exhilarating four days of entertainment and fun. Providing a platform for the Natadola community to showcase their talent, competitions will include Choir, Meke, Sigidrigi, Qawwali & Bhajan, as well as Traditional Song & Dance.

“As an impassioned and meaningful part of our culture we are proud to inspire the world with the spirit of the Fiji Islands through song,” said event organizer Jacob Pau’u. “As a universal language music speaks to and inspires people.” continued Mr. Pau’u. “Whether you create the harmonies or simply enjoy them, music is an enriching gift that brings people together and creates a sense of community and belonging.”

Meanwhile, the carnival will also feature amusement rides, food stalls, and performances from local artists, and is open to the public with $2 entry fee for adults and $1 for children under the age of 12.
