A 36 year old woman has been charged with two counts of manslaughter following the death of her two twin daughters in a drowning incident in Malolo early this year.
Lanieta Saladua Nairabo was charged this morning and produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court this afternoon.
The plea has been deferred with the accused remanded in Police custody and will re-appear in court tomorrow morning.
It is alleged the two victims aged 1 year 11 months were playing outside their home when the two sisters allegedly wandered off to a nearby pond where the tragic incident took place.
