An experienced Outrigger Nadroga side ended Jacks Nadi’s unbeaten run in the Digicel Cup encounter at Prince Charles on Saturday, July 7.
Nadroga opened the score board second minute into the game with a penalty through the boots of fly-half Jiuta Lutumailagi.
The Stallions further extended the lead with a try to Rupeni Nasiga and Savenaca Rawaqa. Both the tries remained unconverted as Nadi kicked in two penalties via the boots of fly-half Venisemani Ratubalavu to narrow the gap 13 – 6 at the breather.
In the second spell, Savenaca Rawaqa scored his second try of the match which was converted by fly-half Jonetani Ralulu while Nadi managed another penalty kick closing the game at 20-9.
Nadroga winger Napolioni Nalaga was the thorn for the Nadi side as he continued to break the Nadi defense while Nadi captain Aseri Tale was the only notable player in the jet-setters line up.
