Day one of play in the International Cricket Council (ICC) East-Asia Pacific (EAP) Under-19 Trophy was abandoned on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast today, due to rain.
With the opening match between Vanuatu and Samoa expected to be rescheduled for Friday (which was originally earmarked as a rest day), this means that the first game of the tournament will be when Fiji take on Samoa tomorrow morning.
The toss will be at 8.30am AEST, with play beginning at 9am at the Maroochydore Cricket Club.
