The Suva Secondary Schools’ Cricket Tournament kicked of at Albert Park yesterday, between Ratu Sukuna Memorial School (RSMS) and Marist Brother’s High School.
RSMS dominated in the tournament’s opening match, making 103 for the loss of just four wickets, after their designated 15 overs. In reply Marist made 6-45. Akaripa Tuinasau top scored for the victors, with his own contribution of 45 runs.
The tournament will continue for another five weeks between six teams from the following schools:
Ratu Sukuna Memorial School
Marist Brothers’ High School
Gospel High School
John Wesley College
Assembly of God School
