The Acting Commissioner of Police today accepted the runner up prize of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s from the Fiji Police 7s team.
In acknowledging the hard work put in by the team the head of the Force reminded his officers that there was always room for improvement.
“We don’t celebrate our achievements because we know there is always more to be done”.
“Just like our everyday police operations we must always work with a mission and vision to our goals whether it is in investigations or sporting field”.
The Fiji Police 7s side was defeated in by Warden’s Gold 15-12 in the final of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.
The Acting Commissioner accepted a check of $5,000 from the team during a special morning tea hosted by senior officers at Police Headquarters yesterday.
