Police have reported to have caught 3 men from 3 different villagers with Marijuana.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that all 3 of them have already being interviewed and are just awaiting government analysis report.
In Buileka, Labasa, a raid arrested a 42 year old and seized five sachets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana wrapped in alminium foil. And in Wasulu village, a drug raid resulted in a 35 year old farmer being arrested after he was found with six sachets of dried leaves wrapped in aluminium foil also believed to be marijuana.
Meanwhile in Vatudova, Labasa, a 32 year old businessman of Vatudova was arrested after he was found with six sachets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
Police will continue to clamp down on those intending to use and sell drugs.
Naisoro added that this is an ongoing operation right across the Divisions and Police will work with the community in getting as much information that could help us tackle this problem in the hope of protecting other innocent parties from being involved.
