Rokocoko and Sivivatu to play for Classic All Blacks

Two former All Blacks stars and sons of Fiji, Joe Rokocoko and Sitiveni Sivivatu have been confirmed yesterday, they will be part of the Classic All Blacks squad that will face the Flying Fijians.

They have been cleared by their clubs in France to play for the classic All Blacks which was confirmed by team management.

“Rokocoko’s club Bayonne has just cleared him this morning to play in the match which is great news. Sivivatu on the other hand had his clearance from Clement Auvergne earlier so our two Fijian All Blacks are good to go” said Team Manager,Andy Haden.

Some of the biggest names in New Zealand rugby are set to star in the visitor’s team, including select All Blacks heroes that won the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

While the rest of the Classic All Blacks and the Flying Fijians is yet to be named, the Fijian spectators can now expect to see two of their very own playing right here at home but unfortunately for the opposition.

Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer Manasa Baravilala says that the Classic All Blacks line up is spectacular and is a rare opportunity to see some of New Zealand’s rugby greats.

“The confirmation of Rokocoko and Sivivatu in the Classic All Blacks is exciting news not only to FRU but the fans that are looking forward to this Centennial match.”

The historical match will take place on the newly renovated National Stadium on June 12, that kicks off between the Classic All Blacks and the Flying Fijians will be at 6pm.
