1. Serious Accident
Police are looking for 31 year old villager of Narewa village in Rakiraki, who fled the scene after an accident.
The incident happened yesterday at 0330hrs while the accused was returning from Rakiraki town with 3 other passengers, the driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road.
A passenger is admitted at Rakiraki hospital under observation.
Investigations continue.
2. Drowning
A 27 year old farmer of Uluisila Settlement, Sigatoka drowned at Uluisila creek. The deceased is a known epileptic patient. The body is kept at Sigatoka Hospital mortuary awaiting post mortem.
The drowning toll stands at 15 compared to 17 for the same period last year.
3. Missing
Sher Ali 45years old, Carpenter of Sheraton Fiji Resort, Nadi staying at Qeleloa went missing since 16/03/13. He was last seen living his home for work.
Police is requesting for information of this missing person.
