A child who was a victim of a road accident last week died yesterday afternoon.
The victim was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 56 year old of Draubuta village that was involved in an accident with a bus.
It is alleged the driver of the bus while trying to overtake another bus parked on the side of the road hit the oncoming vehicle along the Wainibokasi Road at about 1300hrs last Thursday.
The 2 year old victim was since admitted at the hospital following the accident while the other three passengers and the driver were treated and sent home.
A post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death and the driver of the bus is expected to be questioned.
Investigations continue.
