Twenty eight overseas players have confirmed their participation for this year’s Vodafone Sunny West Carnival- Fours event, to be held in Nadi Sports and Social Club.
This was confirmed by bowling director Shorab Khan.
“We have confirmed that there will be twenty eight players that will be coming from overseas, twenty four from Australia and four from Papua New Guniea.
Whereas for locals we haven’t confirmed yet but as usual they will always register a day before the closing time, which is on the 19th of May,” he said.
The tournament will kick start with the fours event which will be held on the first three days following the pair’s event closing it off.
Major sponsor Vodafone has gracefully underwritten the event with $5000 for prize money that will be distributed amongst the winners.
The tournament will take place on the 24th– 29th of May.
