The Fiji Under-20 rugby team won in a warm up clash against New Caledonia at the Uprising beach Resort ground in Deuba yesterday, 45-0.
Speaking to The Jet Newspaper, team manager Bill Gadolo said the game was a good opportunity for the team.
“The win was good, as this was the first time the players have played together and they have done really well,” he said.
Gadolo said they are much concern with the way the players perform out on the field.
“We are not really at the win, but how things are executed during the game,” the former national hooker said.
Gadolo said this was a good opportunity for them to look at some areas that needed to improve on before the World Championship in France.
