The 43 year old man who was alleged to have stabbed a 33 year old woman to death earlier this month has now been charged with one count of murder.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that Sailasa Mociu will be appearing at the Nausori Magistrate Court this morning, after being charged yesterday at the Nausori Police Station.
Mociu surrendered himself at a law firm in Lautoka on Wednesday few weeks after he allegedly murdered the mother of four on a small bridge in Naisaumua villge in Verata, Tailevu.
